CCGS ''Caporal Kaeble'' is the second of nine Hero-class patrol vessels to be delivered to the Canadian Coast Guard .〔 〕〔 〕〔 〕〔 〕 The vessel is named after Joseph Kaeble, a winner of the Victoria Cross in the First World War.〔 〕 On February 10, 2011 the ''London Free Press'' reported that CCGS ''Caporal Kaeble V.C.'', and her sister ship CCGS ''Private Robertson V.C.'' will patrol the Great Lakes.〔 〕 According to the ''Halifax Shipping News'' ''Caporal Kaeble V.C.'' was first "rolled out" in April 2012, to be painted, and again in June, to have her masts installed.〔 〕 They predicted she would be commissioned in October.
